This week I received a call from Terry Vodery, the Director of the United Way of Southern Chester County. She relayed to me the urgent need for funds to help with services to support the 90 community members who were displaced by the recent tragic fire in Oxford, Southern Chester County. The United Way has been extremely busy serving Chester County families who have lost their homes in September. All of the proceeds of the October 26 concert event will go to the Oxford Fire Fund that the United Way has established for this community. If you haven't purchased your tickets yet for the October 26 Fundraising Concert Event at the Kennett Creamery, we hope you will consider joining us. It will mean a lot to the Chester community if we unite and show our support.
